Nangarhar University trains 21 students in practical legal learning.

The female students of Sharia Faculty were trained with the support of Afghanistan International Law Foundation in the 23rd cohort of the Legal Clinic of Nangarhar University. They completed a three month course.

In this connection, there was a gathering at Imam Abu Hanifa Hall of Sharia Faculty, in which leadership of Nangarhar University, Deans of Sharia and Law & Political Science Faculties, professors, students, and the representatives of Afghanistan International Law Foundation participated.

In his speech, Chancellor of Nangarhar University Professor Emeritus Dr. Khalil Ahmad Behsoodwal said, "It's a great pleasure that the students of Sharia Faculty have gotten an opportunity to get practical experience beside theoretical learning" . He added, "It is inevitable for the better implementation of law and order that our students be practically trained".

Professor Behsoodwal thanked the leadership of local office of International Legal Foundation - Afghanistan for facilitating training sessions for NU students and requested them to increase the number of students trainees so that every student of Sharia and Law & Political Science gets benefited from the opportunities such as these.

Dean of Sharia Faculty Professor Emeritus Dr Israrul Hai Muneeb and the Local Head of International Legal foundation - Afghanistan Mr. Abdul Wahid Mikhail were the other speakers. They talked about the importance, need, and sharia aspects of lawyers and legal profession.

At the end, students performed a mock court and then the graduated students were given certificates of participation.
