Nangarhar University pays tribute to its 36 students in commemoration of International Day of Students.
In commemoration of International Day of Students, the administration of Nangarhar University paid tribute to the students who secured first positions in the last semester in their relevant faculties.
In this connection, an event was organized in the hall of Directorship of Students Services Coordination, in which some officials of university administration, professors, and students participated.
In his speech, Vice Chancellor for Students Affairs Assistant Professor Sayed Akram Hashimi talked about the value of reward and punishment and he congratulated the students for achieving the first position in their classes. He added, “The administration and professors of Nangarhar University are making efforts to provide standard facilities in teaching and practical learning. They are the outcomes of those efforts that our students have stood out amongst many competitions of various universities in the country”. Mr. Hashimi wished them a happy International Day of Students and asked them to be keen towards their duties and responsibilities.
As representatives of students both Mr. Abdul Matin Hanif of Engineering Faculty, and Basira Sherzad of Sharia Faculty talked and they thanked the administration of university for always motivating students.
The final activity of the event was that Ms. Manizha Ghafoorzai put on a presentation regrading patriotism, which was applauded by the audience a great deal.
At the end of the event, the outstanding students were honored with Appreciation Letters by the administration of Nangarhar University.
