Nangarhar University convenes Academic Council

The Academic Council of Nangarhar University held a meeting under the leadership of Professor Emeritus Dr. Khalil Ahmad Behsoodwal, the Chancellor of Nangarhar University.

The meeting was attended by Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammad Hamed Kadwal, Vice Chancellor for Students Affairs Assistant Professor Sayed Akram Hashimi, Vice Chancellor for Administrative and Financial Affairs Hamidullah Ahmadzai, deans and professors of different faculties, academic. Academic, administrative, appointment, promotion, confirmation of rankings, students' applications and a number of other issues were discussed in the meeting.

Chancellor Behsoodwal thanked all professors and officials for their sincere efforts in the process of Academic Quality Assurance Accreditation and recommended that this credibility should be maintained and further developed in the future.

Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammad Hamid Kadwal shared the council's agenda with members who discussed 9 academic promotions of Nangarhar University and a number of other universities, confirmed 4 ranks and 12 cases of appointment, approved a master's program in Arabic Department of the Language and Literature Faculty, students’ applications and a number of other miscellaneous issues were also discussed in the meeting.

In the second part of the meeting , eight professors of different faculties (Professor Emeritus Dr. Saifullah Hadi Faculty of Medicine, Professor Emeritus Professor Ehsanullah Saqib of Education Faculty, Professor Emeritus Zalmai Khaliqi of Engineering Faculty, Associate Professor Shams-ul-Islam Shams Safi of Law and Political Science Faculty, Junior Lecturer Shafiullah Habib of Languages and Literature Faculty and General Manager of Academic Magazine of University, Junior Lecturer Ghaffaranullah Maroof of Languages and Literature Faculty, Junior Lecturer Sayed Ata-ul-Haq Banuri of Veterinary Science Faculty Junior Lecturer Mohabat Khan Mohsen of Computer Science), who all were praised and given Certificates of Appreciation and awards by the university 's leadership in the presence of the Academic Council for their contribution in the Quality Assurance Process.
