Chancellor of Nooristan University visits leadership of Nangarhar University.

Chancellor of Nooristan University Senior Lecturer Abdul Saboor Ghafoorzai visited Chancellor of Nangarhar University Professor Emeritus Dr. Khalil Ahmad Behsoodwal, Vice Chancellor for Students Affairs Assistant Professor Sayed Akram Hashimi, and Vice Chancellor for Administrative and Financial Affairs Mr. Hameedullah Ahmadzai.

In the meeting, Chancellor Ghafoorzai asked Chancellor of Nangarhar University to support and assist the newly established University of Nooristan in hiring faculty members, establishment of new departments, the temporary transfer of some administrative staff for the progress of administrative affairs; and other academic, teaching, and administrative areas.

Chancellor of Nangarhar University Professor Emeritus Dr. Khalil Ahmad Behsoodwal talked about the importance and value of relationship, communication, and assistance among the educational institutions. He added, “Nangarhar University is the second large educational and academic center at national level. Therefore, it is our responsibility to help out newly established universities in academic matters”. “Nangarhar University”, he said, “is proud to have helped out many public and private universities in hiring lecturers, academic promotion, quality assurance, research, recording online courses, and other areas”.

Chancellor Behsoodwal assured Chancellor of Nooristan of full support. He added that the establishment plan of Nooristan University was prepared by the administration of Nangarhar University with accordance to the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education. In addition, Nangarhar University would, of course, assist Nooristan University in other areas.

Chancellor of Nooristan University Senior Lecturer Abdul Saboor Ghafoorzai thanked Nangarhar University for the previous assistance and he emphasised on the continuation of help in the future.
