20 students of Engineering Faculty get practical training in Water Reservoir and Environment Preservation

Nangarhar Valley Development Authority (NVDA) arranged the practical training for these students. To the Convocation event at the Directorate of Canal, Chancellor Assistant Professor Dr. Yahya Fahim said, “Without practical learning, students are incomplete. Therefore, we strive hard to provide skillful graduates to the society”. In this connection, Chancellor Fahim also mentioned Nangarhar University’s recent signing of MoUs with 20 sectoral institutions of Nangarhar Provincial Administration in his speech.

Beside congratulating the graduates, Chancellor Fahim also thanked the Directorate of Canal and NVDA Project for arranging the training.

The Head of Nangarhar Valley Development Authority Dr. Parwaiz Ali Alishangi said, “Nangarhar University is the abode of all Afghans and we are pleased to have relationship with this grand Academic Center”. He assured the Chancellor that they would provide such practical programs in the future too.

Other speakers of the event were Vice Chancellor for Students Affairs Assistant Professor Mr. Sayed Akram Hashimi, the Director of NVDA Project Mr. Sayed Maqsood Hashimi, the Director of NVDA Nangarhar  Engineer Mohammad Amin Zahid. They all talked about the importance and benefits of such programs.

The event concluded with the distribution of Certificates to the students, and the Appreciation Letters from the Administration of Nangarhar University the Engineers of NVDA.

It is worthy to be mentioned that Dean of Engineering Faculty Assistant Professor Mohammad Ajmal Stanakzai and the Head of the Department of Water Reservoir and Environment Protection Assistant Professor Mohammad Asghar Ghafoorzai were also present in the event.
