According to the Officials, the purpose of conduction of Peace Accord signing skit among Afghan oppositions was a peaceful message to all the opposition parties in Afghanistan’s ongoing conflict in order to prevent violence and promote the peace process.
The skit was performed by the students of Public Administration & Policy Faculty at the Auditorium on March 14, 2020. Vice Chancellor for Students Affairs Assistant Professor Sayed Akram Hashimi participated in the event beside the Officials, lecturers and students of the faculty.
In the opening speech, Vice Chancellor for Students Affairs Assistant Professor Sayed Akram Hashimi said, “The dead beat and fed up nation of Afghanistan direly needs ‘peace’ more than any thing else. You send the message through this skit to all the parties involved in Afghanistan prolonged war”. He also thanked the Dean and professors of Public Administration & Policy Faculty for facilitating practical learning of the students and initiating such innovative programs.
The Dean of Public Administration & Policy Faculty explained the aims and goals of the skit. He said, “The aim of the skit is to deliver a message to the parties involved in war for the success and possibility of peace process”.
Then, the skit about signing of the Peace Accord was performed, in which Afghan Government and Taliban signed Peace Accord in the presence of the diplomats of United States of America and other countries.
At the end, the Dean of Public Administration & Policy distributed Appreciation Letter to the distinguished students of his faculty.
