According to authorities, with accordance to the MoU, the students of Horticulture and Agri-Business at Agriculture Faculty would be able to get internship in Food Processing Firms.
During the meeting with the members of Food Processing Union, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammad Hamid Kadwal reiterated the importance of relations between University and Private Sector. He also thanked the union for providing opportunities of internship for students.
Dean of Agriculture Faculty Associate Professor Seda Jan Attiq Abdiyani regarded the MoU to be beneficial for both the parties such as it would result in the capacity building of the students and phenomenal improvement of the private sector. He added, “According to the MoU, at first 20 students from Horticulture and Agri-Business will be inducted to Food Processing Union for internship and this will also continue in the future”.
Engineer Mohammad Qasim Yousafi talked on behalf of Nangarhar Food Processing Union. He asked the authorities of the university to conduct such researches that should solve the problems of private sector and the society at large. He assured the university that he would make even more opportunities for the students’ internships.
