Nangarhar University celebrates Eid Miladun Nabi reverently
In the ceremony, the professors put up presentations and read their articles in reverence of the grand prophet of Islam Hazrat Mohammad Swllaho Alaihi Wasslam. The ceremony was organized by Cultural Committee of Sharia Faculty, in which Chancellor of Nangarhar University, Vice Chancellors, the Deans of Faculties, professors, and students participated.
In the opening speech, Chancellor Professor Emeritus Dr. Khalil Ahmad Behsudwal regarded the birth of Rasoolullah Swallaho Alaihi Wassalm as mercy for the humanity. He added, “Our beloved Prophet Swallaho Alaihi Wassalam opened his eyes in such an era when the world was dominated with the darkness of ignorance, violence, and cruelty”. He also highlighted that Rasoolullah Swallaho Alaihi Wassalam brought such justice and discipline to the world that resulted to be the source of success of world and hereafter for the entire humanity. He suggested, “If Afghans follow the esteemed instructions of Rasoolullah Swallaho Alaihi Wassalam, the existing miseries will perish one by one”.
Another speaker was the Dean of Sharia Faculty Professor Emeritus Dr. Israrul Hai Muneeb who talked about the importance, need, value, and aim of the conference.
Then, the Faculty Members of Sharia Faculty i.e. Professor Emeritus Dr. Barakatullah Taib talked about ‘Rasoolullah’s insightfulness in Dawat; Assist Professor Nimatullah Madani highlighted the objectives of Rasoolullah’s Ghazawat (invasions); and Lecturer Ihsanullah Nasih presented ‘The need of awareness about Rasoolullah Swallaho Alaihi Wassalam in the lives of Muslims. They also answered the questions raised by the audience.
At the end, Vice Chancellor for Students Affairs Assistant Professor Sayed Akram Hashimi evaluated the conference and regarded the conference as very informative for the students in improving their knowledge about their religious mottos.
