200 orphan students tour Nangarhar University

About 200 orphan students from various schools of Nangarhar and Laghman Provinces study toured Nangarhar University. They participated in a One-day Personality Building Workshop and visited various faculties and departments of Nangarhar University.

To the gathering arranged in this connection, Chancellor Assistant Professor Dr. Yahya Fahim said, “Besides many other calamities, the imposed war of 4 decades in Afghanistan has made millions of kids orphan, widowed the wives, and left mothers without sons”. Chancellor Fahim thanked Helping Hand Organization for rearing and supporting the orphans; especially bringing them to Nangarhar University on a study tour.

Chancellor Fahim promised the students to train their teachers and send the mobile team of doctors from Nangarhar University Teaching Hospital to the schools of orphans in Nangarhar and Laghman Provinces. In addition, he also announced that Nangarhar University would sign an MoU with Helping Hand Organization soon.

Then, the representative of Helping Hand Organization Mr. Obaidullah Faisal talked about the activities of his organization and the purpose of bringing students to Nangarhar University.

Next, the presentations about the life of Rasoolullah (Swalallaho Alaihi Wa Sallam), Personality Development, Social Etiquettes, and information about Nangarhar University were put on for the students.

At the end, the Vice Chancellor for Students Affairs Assistant Professor Sayed Akram Hashimi took the students to Science, Agriculture, Economic Faculties, and the Central Library. The officials present there gave them the relevant information.
