Biography of Assistant Professor Mohammad Hamid Kadwal

Mohammad Hamid Kadwal s/o Abdul Raziq was born on 12/6/1974 in Surkhrod district of Nangarhar Province. He started his formal education at Sadiq-i-Akbar high school when he was migrated to Pakistan Peshawar amid the Afghanistan invasion by USSR. He graduated from that school in 1994 and enrolled into Veterinary Science Faculty of Nangarhar University in 1995, from where he received his BSc honored diploma in 2000. As he was able to acquire high grades, he was appointed as an instructor at the same faculty in the department of Livestock Production in 2000. Furthermore, he completed his Masters degree In Animal Husbandry (Livestock Production Management), Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Agricultural University Peshawar Pakistan in 2011. Similarly, he recently concluded Ph.D. in Animal and grassland Sciences (Livestock Production Management) at the Faculty of Agriculture in the University of Miyazaki Japan in 2018.       

He is assigned on several academic and managerial posts to utilize his skills and serve the Afghan nation. As mentioned above his first appointment was as a lecturer at the Veterinary Science faculty and recently he has offered his services as the head of Livestock Production department. Likewise, Assistant Professor Hamid Kadwal supported the establishment of English department under the structure of Languages and Literature faculty and voluntarily taught its students for its initial few years. Later on, he also worked as a Legal English instructor at Law and Sharia faculties in an USAID funded Rule of Law project from 2007 to 2008. His recent tenure of becoming vice chancellor of academic affairs has started in 2019, where he is over-sighting the academic procedures of the entire University.

Kadwal sahib received a certificate of TEFL graduate-Level from American Language Institute San Diego State University San Diego CA and participated in numerous academic programs such as he was a member of Group Study Exchange Program (GSE) to University of California Davis (School of Veterinary Medicine) and San Diego State University (SDSU) San Diego California USA, provided by Stephen R. Brown Rotary International District 5340, participated in Veterinary Symposium (Animal Diseases of Afghanistan) conducted by the United States provincial Team Jalalabad Office, Teaching Methodology Training Course of Primary Sciences at on site Education for South Asia Obihiro Hokkaido Japan, first International Workshop on Dairy Science Park  conducted by Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Agricultural University Peshawar Pakistan, second International Workshop on Dairy Science Park conducted by Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences Khyber Pathtunkhwa Agricultural University Peshawar Pakistan, first, second and third Workshop of PAL-1-2-3 (Partner Academic Learning), This was a project of Afghan and UK British Councils, The aims of the workshops were to improve Quality Teaching in Afghan Universities and to enable six major public Universities to acquire the Status of Center of Excellence Quality Assurance and Accreditation In Dubai UAE and workshop on Enhance Quality Assurance in South Asia.
